The staff are amazing, the venues are gorgeous, & the view of the river is breathtaking!
Having access to the historic pedestrian bridge close by, there is no lack of portrait opportunities at Milltown Historic District!
Kaitlyn & Dillon:
What can we say about Kaitlyn & Dillon!? Though we are based in Oklahoma, we love capturing a few weddings in Texas during the year! Kaitlyn & Dillon were an easy choice! Dillon being in school made their relationship a unique one! Dillon was attending A&M in Galveston & Kaitlyn spent most of her time in Arkansas taking care of her grandmother! The gorgeous couple communicated through phone, text, facetime, & email! Long distance is a true test of relationship strength & Dillon & Kaitlyn passed with flying colors! Being commissioned into the Navy the weekend before their wedding made it both exhilarating & meaningful!
First Look:
Kaitlyn enjoyed 2 first looks on her fairytale wedding day! First, she glided down the gorgeous staircase in the beautiful Grande Venue to her waiting father. You could see the anticipation on his face as he turned to see his baby girl in her wedding dress for the first time! Finally, with excitement in both their eyes, Kaitlyn walked up to her Navy Man & the two embraced! The couple shared some personal words, kisses, & gifts to mark this moment as a truly special one.
As ENS Dillon L. Coale, U.S. Navy, stood before Kaitlyn’s father, MAJ William R. Hickman, Retired U.S. Army, he gave him a salute in respect for the changing of the watch. Dillon would now be in charge of watching over Kaitlyn, protecting her, loving her, & providing for her.
More Info:
Kaitlyn & Dillon chose to capture their gorgeous engagement photos at the Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Gardens. Though it was extremely hot, Kaitlyn & Dillon loved every second together & never left each other’s arms!
