Felicia explains, “I was the one who made the first move, or technically my friend made the first move for me. I thought he was a cutie, so my friend messaged him for me. We have been together ever since. We were high school sweethearts, college sweethearts, & now sweethearts for life.”

“I knew very early that Cody was the one that I would be with forever. We were very young when we first started dating so no one believed me, but I knew he was the one. Cody & I have been through a lot together. We grew up together. We will continue to grow together. It’s such a special thing to be able to see each other grow up, & start a life together!”

Tell us all about the proposal!! How amazing was it?

Cody – I had bought the ring a few months before the proposal & I was not really sure how to go about doing it. I knew we had a trip to Florida where all of our family would be there to see it & that was the one thing she really wanted when I proposed. She knew that it was more than likely going to be then since we had talked about getting married for awhile.

I really wanted to surprise her, so I had made a campfire & gathered everyone around while she was inside. I had even called my mom back to the house because I could not wait any longer! As soon as she turned around I called her name & I was down on my knee!

What do you love so much about each other?

Felicia – The thing I love most about Cody is his personality. Cody has one of the quirkiest personalities you will ever see. He always keeps me on my toes & rolling from laughter. He will do just about anything to see me smile. I’m looking forward to walking down the aisle to Cody on our wedding day. That moment is something that I’ve been dreaming about for years. I can’t wait to see his reaction & to finally be able to say “I DO” to the person I love most.

Cody – Felicia at random times will just latch onto me. It doesn’t really matter where, she will just “Koala” me as she says. I will just be doing dishes or just walking by & she will jump onto me & almost knock me over every time. I love that I can be myself around her. She is generally just fun to be around & when I start acting goofy she usually just joins in with me.
