Lori & Robert:
Lori & Robert met at the Thirsty Horse Saloon in San Antonio, Texas! Funnily enough, Robert actually danced with Lori’s friend first! As the evening progressed, however, the guy Lori was talking to didn’t work out so she asked Robert to dance! Robert says they danced until the bar closed & he never took his yes off her from then on! “After we had been dating for a little while I couldn’t help noticing how big her heart was!” Robert told us, “I realized how incredibly happy she made me everyday & I knew I had to spend the rest of my life with her!”
How did you know he was “the one” Lori? “Honestly it was everything he did. He treated me so differently from any other man I had ever dated. He cherishes me & truly loves me unconditionally. He was the answer to my very specific prayer. I knew God had made him for me!”
The Proposal:
Robert –ย ย “We had planned a trip to Disney World for Christmas & I knew we were going to be eating at Cinderella’s Castle on Christmas day. I brought the ring with me, but I didn’t plan it because I was waiting for the perfect moment. I wanted to catch her off guard. We were getting ready to leave & had already payed our check when I saw the perfect moment present itself! She was taking pictures with her parents & had her back to me. I gave my phone to the closest stranger to attempt to capture this moment, & when she turned around I was already down on one knee with the ring. I was nervous, but also excited because I can not wait marry her!”
Lori –ย “We bought the engagement ring together the summer before he proposed. He still wanted to surprise me with a proposal so he kept the ring & had till the end of that year to “officially” pop the question. I had no idea when he was going to propose. I was super excited, but tried not to think about it too much because I did still wanted to be surprised by the gesture. It was perfect!”
